Here is a simple and free tips about how to increase backlink and hopefully pagerank.
1. Create a sitemap and submit your sitemap to google webmaster tools.
2. Submit your website + keywords to around 5 major dofollow social bookmarking websites. Its not to get bookmarks, but its just to get a nice keyword filled dofollow link for the SERPS.
